SIMMS, Gordon Norman – 24-Dec-1947 ~ 15 March 2012. Passed peacefully away at his private residence in St. Anthony surrounded by loving family on the 15th of March 2012. Mr. Gordon Norman Simms of St. Anthony was in his 64th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: son, Matthew; stepchildren: Lee and Lindsay; sisters: Margie, Donna, Eleanor, and Mary; brothers: Sam and Bill; and a large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Janie Way; father, Hebert G. Simms; and brothers: Pascoe and Chris. A memorial service was held on the 19th day of March 2012. In lieu of flowers donations are gladly accepted to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton.
