It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wade Turner announce his passing while surrounded by his loving wife and family on Monday, March 26th, 2012 at the Palliative Care Unit at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 67 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Gloria; Cox’s Cove; children: Cheryl Turner (Gary), Fort Nelson, BC, Charlene Turner (Shelley), Creston, BC and Darryl Turner, Fort Nelson, BC; parents: Doug and Jean Turner, Fort Nelson, BC; sister: Judy (Stan Sutherland), Alberta; sister-in-law: Ann Turner, Grand Prairie, AB; mother-in-law: Connie Ashdown; step children: Jodie Kendell (Mike), Cox’s Cove and Marcelle Kendell (Gerri-Lynn), Fort Nelson, BC; grandchildren: Katelyn, Molly, Casey, Ryan, Tyson and Andrew; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his first wife, Doreen Turner and brother, Dale Turner. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Tuesday, 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 29th at 11:00 A.M. from Fillatre’s Chapel, St. Marks Avenue, Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. The interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
