ANDREWS, Gordon William – Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Center, after a short illness, on December 11, 2009, Gordon William Andrews, aged 84 years. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Winnifred Andrews, and his brothers Wes and Bert. Leaving to mourn his wife Bertha; his children Bill (Joan) Andrews, Doug Andrews, Audra (Paul) Lawlor and David (Michelle) Shears, NS; his sister Ruth Klerorick, his brother Roy (Clara) Andrews, ON; his grandchildren Sherry, Jennifer, Sarah, Jessica, Abigail and Emily; brothers and sisters-in-law Margaret (Jim) Hamilton, Sue Blagdon, Harold (Irene) Thornhill and Ewart (Edna) Thornhill; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and a large circle of friends. At Gordon’s request there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Center.
