FAGNER, John Thomas (December 11, 1926 - December 10, 2009)– Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit on Thursday, December 10, 2009 in the presence of his loving family, John Thomas Fagner, formerly of Lower Island Cove. Predeceased by his infant daughter in 1964. Left with loving memories his devoted wife of 58 years, Elizabeth; sons John (Rhonda), David (Sharon), Tom (Cheryl); grandchildren Renée (Michael Stayner), Carolyn, Jacqueline, Michael, Megan, Mark, Laura and Ryan and step-grandchildren Jill and Joshua Banfield. Also left to mourn his brother James and a large extended family. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, December 12, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place at the Salvation Army, St. John’s Temple, 101 Torbay Road on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road. Special thanks to the staff of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic, the Palliative Care Unit, Miller Center and family doctor, Dr. Paul Skirving.
