PARSONS, Wilma D. — Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, December 11, 2009, Wilma D. Parsons of Salmon Cove, age 76 years. Predeceased by husband: George; sisters: Annie Osmond, Ella Clarke and Dorothy Burden. Leaving to mourn two daughters: Marilyn Thompson (June Layden), St. John’s and Sherry Parsons (Mike Remers) Kitchener, ON; seven sons: Clarence (Pauline), Pasedena, Jim (Verlie) and Glen (Patty), both of Cambridge, ON, George (Cindy), Bruce (Patty), Ellis (Barbara) and Clyde, all of Kitchener, ON; sixteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers: Joshua (Lydia) Hiscock, Victoria, Leonard (Martha) Hiscock, Waterloo, ON and Ellis (Lenora) Hiscock, Kitchener, ON; two sisters: Joyce (Ted) Churchill, Labrador City and Jean Dodge, Little Heart’s Ease; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear, Saturday, December 12 from 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, December 13 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, December 14 at 2 p.m. from Riverside United Church and Cemetery, Salmon Cove.
