The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, surrounded by her family of Mary "Lottie" Delaney of St. Edward aged 96 years. Wife of the late Austin Delaney. She was born on June 11, 1912, the daughter of the late James and Adeline (Dugay) Hustler. Dear mother to Anne (Frank) McPhee, N.S.; Maisie (the late Al) Wood, O'Leary; Freda Byers (Clair), N.B.; Lemond (Flo) Delaney, St. Edward; Elsie Perry (Frankie), St. Louis; Sybil (Howland) Wedge, St. Edward; Austie Delaney (Leona), St. Edward; and Jerry (June) Delaney, St. Edward. Loving grandmother to 44 grandchildren, 98 great-grandchildren and 28 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Emma Burke, Melvina Ross, Viola Ramsay, Cora Gallant and a sister-in-law Freda Myers. She was predeceased by her parents James and Adeline; husband Austin; six children: Kay and son-in-law Gerald, Sybil, Ida, Pauline, Elva and Chester; grandsons: Kevin, Ritchie and Darren; granddaughter Anne; sister Maisie; and brothers: James, Henry, Chester, Leslie and Clarence.
