At the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Sunday, April 1, 2012, of Mr. John Patrick Callaghan of Charlotte Court, Charlottetown, age 65 years.
Beloved husband of Cheryl (nee Varga) Callaghan. John is survived by his children Teena Shepp (Darryl) of Alberta, Theresa Callaghan (Lyle Masse) of Alberta, Tyler Callaghan (Maria) of Saskatchewan; stepchildren Robin Smith (Sebastian Bastarache) of Moncton, David Smith of Charlottetown, April Tringham (John) of Ontario; 13 loving grandchildren and one great-grandson. Brother of Billy (Ceic) Ronnie (Pat), Henry, Mary Callaghan, Allan (Jean), Brian and Bobby (Jeanette).
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home from where a memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel. Date and time of service will be announced later. Interment will take place later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
By personal request there will be no visiting hours.
