The death occurred peacefully at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Oakville, Ont, surrounded by her loving family and in the arms of her husband and soulmate of 58 years on Sunday Aug. 3, 2008. June Patricia Daymond (nee Ramsay) of Oakville, Ont., age 80 years. Born in Summerside, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Alberta Ramsay (Bowness) Ramsay. Survived by her husband Stewart Francis Daymond, children Deborah (John Wood), Gail (Glen Piotrowski), Alan (Diane Davey), Neil (Connie Keiser) all of whom had benefitted by years of motherly wisdom and total love in ways that will nurture them during their future lives, grandchildren Jason, Michael, Alan and Jenny Wood; Katie, Andrew, Amy, Kiri and William Piotrowski; Nicholas, Thomas, and Senna Daymond; sisters Kathleen King and Alice Steeves; nieces and nephews Katherine, Heather, Leesa and Michael Daymond; Mike, Jeff and Paul Ramsay; Philip, Jane King; Danny, David, Christie, Kathy Steeves Predeceased by her brother Wilson Ramsay. Special thank you to the wonderful nurses and doctors of the Emergency Department, ICU, and Palliative Care Unit of the hospital as well as private caregivers. A private family funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Palliative Care Unit of the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital or to The Margaret Parsons-Poole and Clifford Poole Scholarship Fund at the Royal Conservatory of Music would be appreciated.
