Forgues, Laura (nee Wiederspiel) 1954 - 2007 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend in a tragic car accident outside of Chase, BC on July 16, 2007. Laura was predeceased by her father, Rudy Wiederspiel and is survived by the love of her life of 30 years, Cameron and her beloved children Shannon (Kelowna) and Jesse (Perth, Australia), and her four legged companion Buca. She is also survived by her mother, Betty Wiederspiel, brother, Ken (Deb) and sisters Linda (Danny), Carol (Ed), Dawna (Craig), Bonnie (Ken) and Diane (Keith), brother-in-law Paul (Shirley), Ian (Janice) and sister-in-law Nicole (Ken) including numerous nieces and nephews (plus great nieces and nephews) as well as many caring and dedicated friends. Laura grew up in Edmonton and moved to Surrey in 1980 when Cam got his first posting with the RCMP. From there they moved as a family to Kamloops and then to Kelowna where they planned to retire. Throughout these moves Laura left a trail of close and valued friends. She is best remembered for her dedication as a wife and mother, her sense of humour, loyalty to family and friends, and her determination to face life's challenges with a positive attitude. Laura loved her family immensely, she loved her dog, and she loved her life, living each and every day to the fullest. Laura unknowingly touched many lives and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grand Hotel, Kelowna, BC.
