Suddenly at home on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, of M. Joan Murphy of Imperial St., Kensington, aged 64 years. Born in Summerside on June 5, 1944, daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Watson) Flynn. Wife of J. Earl Murphy. Mother of Donna (Deryck) Mills, Cornwall; Arlene, Kensington; John (Leisa), Freetown; Bob (Kimberly), Irishtown and Billy Murphy, Kensington, and Charlene MacKay (Ron Gill), Kensington. Grandmother to Nicole, Danielle and Kristopher Mills, Candace Hagen, Lezlie Murphy, Paige MacKay, Lexie and Lance Murphy. Great grandmother to Autumn Mills and Jack Hagen. Sister of Ronnie Flynn, Georgetown. Sister-in-law of Louise (C.B.) Lundin, Helen (Gin) Smith, Arnold, Billy (Gertie), Gerald (Carol), Ray (Lorriane) and Mark (Edna) Murphy. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation Sunday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass Monday in the Church of the Holy Family, Kensington, at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery Indian River.
