Ann Woodley 1933-2007 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Enid Ann Woodley on July 22, 2007 after long illness. Ann was predeceased by her husband Monty and brother Allan. She is survived by sons David (Angela) and Ray (Leanne), and granddaughters Kelsey, Claire, and Lara. Ann Woodley (nee Stone) was born in Montreal on February 27, 1933. Ann studied food sciences at MacDonald College where she met Montague Woodley. She and Monty ventured to Vancouver where she worked managing a UBC cafeteria. They were married in 1956. Ann was by nature a social person. She loved to prepare for and host big dinner parties. She especially enjoyed engaging conversation and good company. She believed in the power of human fellowship, diversity, and compassion. In recent years an interest in watercolour painting was rekindled due to the artists she met at classes. To her sons she was always full of unconditional love, wisdom and grace. She treasured friendships and her dearest friends she considered family. The world is a better place because she lived and because she made a difference - to us and to many. A memorial service at St. Paul's Anglican Cathedral will be held Thursday, August 9, 2007 at 1: 00 P.M.
