CURTIS On Thursday, July 26, 2007 Mrs. Betty Louise Curtis passed away peacefully at Kamloops at the age of 85 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters Betty Jo, Roberta and Michelle, her four sons Harold, Darrell, Alan and Chuck, twenty grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren. Betty was predeceased by her parents, husband of 52 years, Morris, a son, a daughter and three grandchildren. Betty was born on July 25, 1922 at Oroville, Washington to George and Mary Torrence, she was the youngest of eight children. She married Morris Curtis on September 1, 1946 and settle in Condon, Oregon in 1951. They moved to Barriere from Condon in 1970. Then another moved to Kamloops after the death of her loving husband in 1999, she then moved into Thrupp Manor in North Kamloops in 2003. The family wishes to thank the staff at Thrupp Manor, it was her home. Special thanks to Edith and Debby for the special pampering. Also thanks to Dr. Mabee and Judy for the personalized attention. A Celebration of Betty's life was held on Sunday, July 29th, 2007 at the Thrupp Manor Tea Room. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Thrupp Manor, 591 Royal Avenue, Kamloops, V2B 3P8 in memory of Betty would be appreciated.
