In Memory Of DIAMOND ANNE EMILY ANDRES (nee OVERBO) September 18, 1923 - August 4, 2007 After a brief, courageous battle with cancer, Diamond passed away peacefully in Kamloops, BC at the age of 83. Born in Kinsella, Alberta, Diamond moved to Vancouver at a young age where she was involved in producing aircraft bombers for the war effort. Subsequently, Diamond worked for 35 years with Warner Brothers Pictures until retiring and marrying Peter Andres in 1984. She and Peter moved to the McClure area north of Kamloops and enjoyed many years of excitement and enjoyment with their many friends and acquaintances. While her survivors on this veil of tears called Earth sadly mourn her passing, Heaven rejoices as it welcomes her home and celebrates her lifelong devotion and kindness to animals, children, friends and family. Diamond is survived by her husband Peter; children Bonnie and Eric Maki, Dudley and Monique Andres, Brenda and Mogens Jorgensen, Denise Andres and April Andres; their grandchildren Christine and Frank Carnovale; Daniel and Alison Maki, Ryan, Kelsey, Stephen, Meghan and Nigel; great grandchildren Aleah and Taysia and only surviving nephew Gary and wife Jan; great nieces and nephews Jeff, Cheryl, Jim, Cathy and great-great niece and nephews Shaylee, Brayden and Rylen. The family requests that any expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the SPCA or the Canadian Cancer Society and/or Kidney Foundation of Kamloops. As requested by Diamond, no formal service will be held. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Justin Clark of Personal Alternative Funeral Services. 554-2324
