Passed peacefully away at Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Wednesday, February 27, 2008, after a lengthy illness, Albert Lionel Bowen of Brooklyn, formerly of Winterbrook, aged 79 years. Predeceased by daughter Karen Bailey; parents Lionel and Rebecca and sister Sarah Smith. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife Theodora, of 50 years; daughter Sarah Little (Ronald), Whitecourt, AB; special grandson Michael Bailey; grandchildren Dawn Blundon (Jeff), Bloomfield, Stephen Bailey (Megan), Lethbridge, Richard Little and Megan Little, Whitecourt, AB; great-grandchildren: Brandon and Brianna Blundon; son-in-law Robert Bailey, Lethbridge; sister Laura Sceviour, St. John's; brothers: Eric Bowen (Joan), Pasadena and Eli Bowen (Susie), Greenwood, NS; special aunt, Mrs. Bessie Ralph, Winterbrook and a large circle of relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitantions will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 1 at Fewer's Funeral Home in Lethbridge. Memorial service to be held on Sunday, March 2, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from Anglican Church, Lethbridge with interment at Anglican Cemetery, Lethbridge.
