It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Elizabeth White announce her passing at the Palliative Care Unit in the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday, April 8th, 2012 at the age of 67 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Veronica (Ed) Mitchell, Jackie (Charles) Gallant, Evangeline (Ossie) Brown, Dorraine (Sandy) Hickey, Adam (Bonnie) White, grandchildren: Maria, Eddie, Bobby, Ossie, Bradley, Kristy, Kayla, Brandon, Chelsey, Megan, Morgan, great- grandchild Katie, sisters: Ada White, Judy (Charles) White, brother Joe (Fern) Blanchard and a large circle of relatives and friends. She is predeceased by husband Isaac Benoit, son Brice, great-grandson Jakob, brother Bertram Blanchard, brother-in-law Martin White, parents, Edna & John Thomas Blanchard and sister Katie Blanchard. Visitation has taken place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday April 9, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. and will take place on Tuesday April 10, 2012 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday April 11, 2012 at 10 a.m. from the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating, interment to follow at Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Cemetery, Benoit’s Cove, NL. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
