The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., on Friday, Aug. 15, 2008, of John Frederick Homer Doucette, of 199 Water St., Summerside, aged 69 years. Homer was born in Summerside, P.E.I., on May 29, 1939, to his late parents, Willard and Leona (Wedge) Doucette. Beloved brother of Charles Doucette, Richmond, and Joan Marie Gallant, Toronto, and good friend of Alan and Mabel Crue, Summerside, and several nieces and nephews. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 am. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside.
