STELLARTON – Annie Mae Stewart, age 79 of Rutherford Street, Stellarton, passed away on April 11, 2012 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Stellarton, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Lenora (Keddy) Hartling.
Annie lived most of her life in Stellarton. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church.
Surviving are a son Jim Morton of Dartmouth; a daughter Patricia Grant of Fort MacMurray; a brother Willis (Pete) (Mamie) Marcott of Port Hood; a sister Maureen (Cookie) Lamey of Springville; several nieces and nephews
She was predeceased by her husband Harry Stewart; brothers: Lawrence, Gordon and John; sisters, Monica O’Brien and Gloria Jollineau
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors from 7-9 p.m. on Monday in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel.
Funeral service will held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the funeral home chapel with Father Peter MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Name Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Annie may be made to the Palliative Care Society of the Aberdeen Hospital.
