ERWIN KAMPER March 31, 1930 - August 25, 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Erwin on August 25, 2007 at the Overlander Extended Care. Erwin is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nella, daughter Annelisa (Gary) and grandchildren Christan and Justan. She also leaves numerous relatives and friends. Erwin was born in Graz, Austria and came to Canada with a young wife and child in tow, to work in the wood industry till his retirement from Tolko, Rayleigh in 1995. Erwin loved sports as a child which led him to a career in bike racing in the Tour de France, racing from 1949 - 1954 as an amateur. He loved gardening, animals and traveling. We would like to thank Royal Inland Hospital and Overlander Extended Care staff and nurses for all of their great care and comfort. The Reverend Father Derrick Cameron will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation, 311 Columbia Street, Kamloops, B.C. V2C 2T1 in memory of Erwin.
