"Grama Dot" Dorothy Orpha Abraham April 8, 1919 ~ September 6, 2007 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Abraham of Kamloops, at the age of 88 years She is survived by her loving husband Richard "Grampa Dick"; daughters Betty Lou Matthews, and Lynda (George) Gammie; grandchildren Kim Cholewa, Brad Matthews, Carmie (Mike) Fuller, Niki (Brian) Edgeworth, Jodi (Glenn) Strang, and Tim (Shalena) Ries; great grandchildren Jami (Brad), Christopher (Desi), Courtney (Kenny), Matthew, Kara, Jenna, and Kymbrlee; great great granddaughter Kinley; sisters Irene Stevenson, and Phyllis Nelson; many nieces and nephews, the extended Abraham family, and many "adoptees" she picked up along the way. Predeceased by her sister Edna Carey, brothers in-law Herb Carey and Lyle Nelson, son in-law Bruce Matthews, and very special friend Madge Herron.
