At the prince County Hospital Summerside on Friday Aug. 22, 2008 with his family by his side of Clifford Joseph Gaudet of Tignish shore area 82 years. Born Feb. 28, 1926, he was the son of the late Alphonse and Ethel (nee Arsenault) Gaudet. Dear father to Donald of Montreal, Allan (Marlene) of Alberton, Sharon (Paul) Shea of Norway, Ivy (Steve) Band of Stratford, Rodney (Lois) of Kildare,Lorna (Dean) Vanderkay of Stratford, Rick (Twila) of Mt. Denson. N.S. He is also survived by the mother of his children Eva (nee Myers) Gaudet. Loving grandfather to Colleen, Cory, Andy, Shane, Kelly Ann, Clay, Waverley, Mark, Mitchell, Nicholas, Dwayne, Adam, Matthew, Randell, and step-grandchildren Stephanie and Jonathan. He is also survived by his 20 great-grandchildren, dear brother to Arnie Gaudet of Tignish. He was predeceased by brothers and sister Major, James, Vera and Violet. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton, from where the funeral will be held on Monday afternoon from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 4 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated.
