Born December 19, 1928 at Englee, NL to Robert and Mary Jean Reid.

It is with great sorrow that the family of the late Dorman Bramwell Reid announce his peaceful passing to his heavenly home at the age of 80 years. He leaves to mourn with a lifetime of love and devotion: his wife, Mae Reid, of 65 years; his sons: Wilfred (Janice) Reid, Francis (Christina) Reid, Ken (Lisa) Reid; his daughters: Jessie Noseworthy, Linda (Wayne) Peckford, Carol (Ernest) French and Maxine (Brian) Johnson; his pride and joy, his grandchildren: Robert, Heather, Angela, Jason, Kristofer, Kendra, Shirley, Susan, Scott, Corey, David, Ernest, Amanda, Tammy, Jennifer, Richard, Brianna, Scott and Alyssia; great-grandchildren: Tyler, Jessica, Ayden, Marcella, Raymond, Johnathan, Abigail, Jacob, Aliyana, Carson, Jiah, Nicole, Shawn, Dylan, Beth, Sean, Kyle, Jude and Jael, along with a large family of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Mary Jean Reid; brothers: Roland, Booth, Armenius; sisters: Elizabeth and Margaret; grandson, Shawn Noseworthy and son-in-law, Raymond Noseworthy. We will celebrate his life at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Thursday, December 17, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday, December 18, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Sonrise Ministries, Wellington Street, with Pastor Cyril Rogers officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or World Vision.
