LEBLANC, EDNA - Edna LeBlanc, 93, of Dieppe, wife of the late Arthur LeBlanc, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2012 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Centre following a brief illness. Born February 9, 1919 in Sainte-Marie, she was the daughter of the late Alban and Gertrude (Belliveau) Roy. She was employed at Star-Hollywood in Acton, ON prior to her retirement, and was a 50 year member of the C.W.L. Edna is survived by a sister, Rita LeBlanc (late Ernie); two brothers: Edgar (Geneva) and Denis Roy (late Nancy); many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Besides her husband, she is predeceased by three brothers: Ovila (late Ella), Zoèl (late Leola) and Ernest (Doris).
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and Thursday, from 10 a.m. until departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse R.C. Church, 160 Ste-Thérèse Street, Dieppe, on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Cap-Pelé.
