McEWEN, WILLIAM GEORGE - Mr. William George McEwen of Four Corners, passed away on April 16, 2012 at the age of 77. He was the son of the late George and Prudence (Church) McEwen and was the husband of the late Frances (Parlee) McEwen who passed away in 2011. Bill is survived by his children: Anne Walsh of AB, Kay Mills (Alan), Ken McEwen (Debbie), Joe (Olive Squire) and Doug McEwen, all of ON and Willie (Alicia Eustaquio) of Sussex; his stepchildren: Margaret MacTavish (Robert Bouvier), Melissa Code (Dave), Wendy Proctor (Cecil), Lloyd MacTavish, Ralph MacTavish (Kim) all of ON and Paul MacTavish (Lou) of BC; his sister, Frances Jennings of Saint John; 27 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews; He is predeceased by his brothers: Ronald and Vincent; his sisters: Mary Henderson and Kathleen Filmore and by his great granddaughter Claire.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Thursday 1 to 3 and 6 to 8pm. A Celebration of William George's life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 10:00am. The interment will take place at Newtown Baptist Cemetery. Donations made to the memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
