On April 17th, 2012 Bernice Rose passed away peacefully at Pine Grove Lodge, Kamloops at the age of 88 years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, David; her son David (Debbie) Giles of Salmon Arm and their children Tom (Melanie) Giles, Jackie Lynne (Sam Elliott) Giles and great grandchildren Mikayla and Zac; her daughter-in-law Carol Giles and her children Jason (Linda) Giles, Greg (Kelly) Giles and Brianne Cady and great grandchildren Andrew and Rosie.

She was predeceased by her four sisters and her son Gordon Giles.

Bernice enjoyed curling and golfing, singing with the happy choristers, cross-country skiing and gardening. She enjoyed life to its fullest. She had a beautiful smile and was always happy.

A Celebration of Bernice's life will be held on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Schoening Funeral Chapel, 513 Seymour Street with Pastor Don Maione officiating.
