It is with great sadness that the family of the late Claude Junior Gale announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday, December 17, 2009, at the age of 47 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: his common law wife of six years, Marina Elford; sons: Stephen (Summer) and Jeffrey; daughter, Nicole, all of Ontario; parents, Claude and Edna Gale of Deer Lake; brothers: Glen (Jeanette) of Deer Lake, Paul (Paula) of St. Paul’s; sisters: Edith (Walter) Ricketts of Ontario and Rose (Al) of Fort McMurray; two grandchildren: Mason and Boston of Ontario. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Friday, December 18, 2009 from 7-9 p.m., Saturday, December 19, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, December 20, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Curling on Monday, December 21, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Bernard Buckle officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
