Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, of Robert "Oscar" Campbell of Borden-Carleton in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Wanda (nee Lowther) Campbell. Dear father of Marjorie (Fred) Leard, Borden-Carleton; Betty (Roger) LeBlanc, Dartmouth, N.S.; Gary (the late Connie) Campbell, Dartmouth, N.S. and daughter-in-law Colleen Campbell, Dartmouth, N.S. Loving grandfather of Sharon (Glen) Leard, Cathy (Stacey) Silliker, Steven (Laurie) Leard, Kent (Allison) Leard, Rob (Sandy) LeBlanc, Pam (Ed) Thompson, Paul (April) LeBlanc, Gary (Angela) Campbell, Craig (Michelle) Campbell, Dwayne (Kristy) Campbell, and Tanya (Rod) Rushton. Also survived by 26 great-grandchildren and sister Wanda Carver, brother-in-law Harry (Louise) Lowther, and sister-in-law Helen Lowther. Predeceased by son Everett, daughter June, parents George and Margaret Campbell, and brother Edison. Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, with visitation on Saturday, Sept. 6, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service from Borden-Carleton United Church, Sunday at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in Free Church of Scotland Cemetery, Cape Traverse.
