Gertrude Viola Rock, late of Prince Albert, SK. Born February 14, 1918 and passed away December 16, 2009. She is survived by her son Terry and daughter-in-law Mary Lee Plemel of Prince Albert, SK and daughter Carolyn of Victoria, BC; grandchildren: Tyler of Black Diamond, AB; Jodie of Birch Hills, SK; Kimberly of Edmonton, AB; Heather of Victoria, BC and Jason of Oakville, ON; great grandchildren: Karma of Lethbridge, AB and Aaron and Cassidy of Birch Hills, SK. Special thanks to the Salvation Army and businesses along Central Ave. and in the Mid-Town Plaza who befriended her over the years. Home Care Services at the Victoria Hospital that led us through the legal and diagnostic phases required for post hospital placement, and to the Palliative Care Unit that provided timely exemplary service to the end. To Marge and John Bodnarchuk who were always there for us as we transitioned from Marquis Towers to Victoria Hospital to Hillside Home. To Dr. Janna Tumbach who promised a comfortable pain free passing and delivered.
