It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sarah-Ann Tuck (nee Legrow), age 76 of Hants Harbour, Trinity Bay. Sarah passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Nursing Home on Tuesday December 15th., 2009.
Sarah was predeceased by her husband Lloyd Tuck, sisters Emmy Keating, Margaret Legrow and grandson Jason Chatfield. Leaving to mourn her loss forever are her eight children: Daisy Chatfield (Doug), Daphne Coombs (Robert), Denise Pinhorn, Roslyn Cole (Roy), Patsy Piercey (Stanley), Lloyd Tuck (Cathy), Terry Tuck (Debbie) and Tony Tuck (Kelly); her pride and joy, her 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn her loving brothers and sisters Fannie Taylor (Bill), Lillian Noel, William Legrow (Bernadette), Wayne Legrow (Marie), Jocelyn Legrow, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. She will be resting at Green's Funeral Home in Winterton, Trinity Bay. Visiting hours are Thursday December 17th. 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday December 18th. 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m, Funeral service will take place on Saturday December 19th at 11 a.m, from the United Church, Hants Harbour with interment to follow at the UC Cemetery.
