Chance Harbour – Alice Murray, age 87, of the Valley View Villa and formerly of Chance Harbour, passed away Monday, April 23, 2012 in the Villa. Born in New Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late George Olding and Eva (Chisholm) Cameron. She was a member of Little Harbour Presbyterian Church and the Ladies Aid. She is survived by a son: Olding (Betty Cox), Chance Harbour; grandchildren: Nicole (Jim) Galliot, Lawrencetown; Tracy Murray, Cole Harbour; great grandchildren: Austin and Gabrielle Galliot; Cameron Brown; Ross Belcher; step great grandchild Kylleesha Gibson; step grandchildren: Dana (Bill) Sharkey; Amanda Rose-Ann “Bobbi” Cox (Butch), and their families. She was predeceased by her husband George Murray. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 pm Wednesday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service 11 am Thursday in Little Harbour Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Burial will be in Church Brook Cemetery.
