Robert (Bob) Custance April 2, 1943 - October 10, 2007 After a courageous eleven year battle with cancer Bob passed away peacefully on October 10 with his family by his side. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 40 years Margo, son Jeff (Sherry) of Maple Ridge and daughter Michelle (Joe) Alpino of Kamloops. Bob also leaves behind his four beloved granddaughters Regan & Danica Custance and Rylee and Quinn Alpino. Also mourning his loss are his brother Len (Judy) Custance of Kelowna, sister Carol (Dave) Elrod of Arizona, brother Gary (Wanda) of Oregon, step-brother Ron (Velma) Everett of Penticton and sister-in-law Susan (Graham) Arthur of Vancouver. Bob also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their families. Bob was predeceased by his father Roy, step-father Frank Everett, nephew Perry Custance and mother Alice. Bob was very proud of his children and their families and treasured every moment spent being "Grumpa" to his precious granddaughters. Bob always looked forward to his fall hunting trip with Rick and the fishing bets with brother-in-law Dave. Monday night tennis with the "boys" was a tradition that carried on for over twenty years and was very difficult for him to give up 2 years ago. Special thanks to Bob's doctor Paul Yanko and the professional and compassionate staff at the Cancer Centre for the Southern Interior in Kelowna. To our wonderful friends, thank you for all your love and support, especially over the last year. At Bob's request there will be no service, however friends are invited to celebrate Bob's life October 27th from 1:00 - 3:00 PM in Salon A at the Best Western on Rogers Way. Should friends desire, donations may be made in Bob's name to the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home, 72 Whiteshield Crescent S, Kamloops, B.C., V2E 2S9. Although Bob was not able to spend his final days at this facility we would like to acknowledge the importance of the service they provide to the community of Kamloops. "Wishing you all the Pepsi and double chocolate donuts your heart desires,"
