BURKE, Mary Irene – 90, Villa St. Joseph-du-Lac, Dayton, formerly of Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 in the Villa. Born September 26, 1921 in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late Arthur J. and M. Susan (Ward) Doucette. Irene worked at Dominion Textiles,Yarmouth for 32 years. She is survived by her son, Wayne (Judy) Burke, Mainshore Rd., Yarmouth, as well as by two grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Clarence A. Burke and an infant sister. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Yarmouth. A funeral mass will be held at a later date. Interment at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth.
