Born in Summerside on March 30, 1933, daughter of the late Horace W.E. and Bessie A. (Campbell) Heckbert. Wife of William M. (Billy) MacEwen. Mother of Derek (Nancy Yeo), Stratford; Cindy (Kirk Bossio), Cranbrook, British Columbia and Heather (Brian) MacNeil, Cornwall. Grandmother of Tyler and Ryan MacNeil, and Michael MacEwen. Twin sister of Freda (George) Wall, Kensington. Sister-in-law of Avila MacEwen, Clinton. Aunt of Gerald Mill and Susan Mill. Great aunt of Chris Mill and Robin Mill. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington. Visitation was held on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by a memorial service by members of the Regent Chapter # 52 Order of Eastern Star.
