PETERS On Wednesday, October 31, 2007 Wayne Gill Peters of Kamloops passed away at the age of 58 years. He was born August 12, 1949 in Victoria, BC. Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Cheryl and his four children Rick, Dan (Stacey), Melissa and Teresa, a very special grandson Steven, and also his brother Keith (Janet). Also left to cherish his memory are his aunt Mary and aunt Betty and many cousins. He was predeceased by his mom Dorothy and his dad Gordon. Wayne just retired after 38 years with the Provincial Government. He and Cheryl have also fostered numerous children over the past 25 years in Victoria and here in Kamloops. Also left behind are his hunting buddy Bruce, his lunch buddy Greg and Shirley who worked with Wayne over the past 12 years and kept him in line during the day when he was away from Cheryl. Wayne's passions were his family, his foster children, hunting and work. A Celebration of Wayne's life will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 4:00 P.M. at the Knutsford Community Hall.
