The death occurred suddenly at 26 Pate Garden Drive, O’Leary, on Thursday, April 26, 2012, of Augustine Doucette, formerly of St. Louis, aged 75 years. He was born in St. Louis on May 4, 1937, the son of the late Cyril and Mildred (Martin) Doucette. Dear brother to Lydia Myers (companion Frank Lawless), Summerside; Arthur (Anna) Doucette, St. Louis; Anne (Joseph) Lynch, Alberton; Joseph (Joyce) Doucette, Nail Pond; and Victor (Darlene) Doucette, Harper Road; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Cyril and Mildred, brothers Henry, Clovis, Ernest, Gerard, sisters Marie, Priscella and brother-in-law Johnny Myers and Buddy Carragher. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, until Monday, April 30, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment to take place in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Palmer Road.
