It is with great sadness that the family of the late Archibald Kendell announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday April 26, 2012 at the age of 78 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 48 years, Lois Kendell, children: Beverley Kendell (Murray), Boyd Kendell (Alison), grandchildren: Samantha Sheppard, Stephanie Sheppard, Cassie Mauger, David Anstey, sisters: Pearl Childs- Sheppard (Alan), Charlotte Sheppard, sisters-in-law: Mary, Masie, Melissa, also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by son Darren, daughter Sharon, parents Charles & Deborah, sisters: Mary Joyce (Clifton), Olive Sheppard (Richard), Melina Childs (Thomas), Susannah Snooks (Thomas), Amelia Childs-Rideout, brothers: George Kendell, James Kendell (Regina), Wilson Kendell, Henry Kendell, Clarence Kendell, and Gordon Kendell. Visitation to take place at St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour, on Saturday April 28, 2012 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Sunday April 29, 2012 from the St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour at 2 p.m. with Reverend Nellie Thomas officiating. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
