Passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus on Thursday, December 3rd, 2009 at the age of 80 years.

Rose was born and raised in Binscarth, Manitoba to Gert and George Matheson.

She is survived by her four children Mary-Lee, David, Kerry and Robin. Devoted grandmother of five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Rose lived for a number of years in Kamloops, BC, where she was active in the Anglican Church, singing in the choir or playing the organ. She also played the flute in two orchestras and volunteered with numerous organizations. She loved winter sports particularly skating and skiing and she skated up until her seventies.

Interment to take place at a later date.
