The death occurred at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 of Dorothy M. Profitt (nee Allen) of Charlottetown age 89 years. Beloved wife of Wendell. Dearest mother of Judy (Ron Hughes) and Dr. Allen (Susan) Profitt. Cherished grandmother of Chelsea and Jordan. Loving sister of Dr. Lloyd (Virginia) Allen and Kathleen (James predeceased) Oakley. Sister-in-law of Georgie (Walter) Simmons and Rowan (Muriel predeceased) Profitt. Daughter of the late Dr. Harry and Kathleen Allen. Niece of the late Richard S. (Eleanor) Hinton. Her remains rested at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel, CHarlottetown. Funeral was held Friday from Trinity United Church Charlottetown at 10 a.m. Interment took place in The Peoples Cemetery, Summerside.
