Pete was born in Verigin, Saskatchewan to Bill and Molly Zietsov.
He is survived by his son Allen (Hilda) and granddaughter Jenna, his daughter Natalie (Ken) Fenrick, granddaughter Tracy Mytron, grandson Brad Fenrick and four great grandchildren. He also leaves to cherish his memory his sister Elsie.
Dad was predeceased by his wife Mabel; two sons: Andy and Peter; his parents; and sisters Jean and Mary.
Dad spent his younger years working for Mattey Bros. in Chase, B.C. He then moved to Kamloops where he worked on the construction of the Weyerhaeuser Pulp Mill. He acquired his welding ticket and worked for Weyerhaeuser for many a year.
Dad loved to fish and camp. Many a good times were had with family and friends. For the past year and a half he made his home at Berwick on the Park in Kamloops.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Pete's life will be held in the Schoening Funeral Chapel at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2009.
