At Community Hospital, O'Leary, on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008, of Lemuel James McLellan of Elmsdale aged 76, beloved husband of Norma (nee O'Halloran). Born in Alma on Feb. 3, 1932, the son of the late W.B. "Bony" and Mary Ann (MacIntyre) McLellan. Cherished father of David, Slave Lake, Alta.; Brian, Charlottetown, Donna (Keith) Rowley, Brockton; Kevin, Cherry Valley; John, Brooklyn. Loving grandfather of Megan and Mitchell Rowley and Jorja McLellan. Brother of Lucy Kinch, Walpole, Mass., Doris White, Clermont, Fla. Brother-in-law of Jim McCarthy, Brockton; Mary Gallant, Summerside; Rita (Joseph) MacLean, Toronto, Ont.; Archie (Carolyn) O'Halloran, Brockton; Lorne (Linda) O'Halloran, St Lawrence; Earl (Eileen) O'Halloran, Brockton; Grant (Colleen) O'Halloran, Newmarket, Ont.; Merlin (Eloise) O'Halloran, Brockton; Blair O'Halloran, Mill River. Nephew of Bernice Griffin, Alberton and Basil (Norma) Griffin, Brockton. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters and brothers Esther O'Brien, Mildred Shea, Jack, Irving "Gus," Marion McCarthy, Anna O'Brien, Carl, Claude and Ray, nephew Roger O'Halloran and three brothers-in-law in infancy. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary with visiting hours Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until 10 a.m. then to Sacred Heart Church, Alberton, for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
