Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 of Mr. David H. Ford of Warren Grove, age 91 years.
Beloved husband of the late Vaunda (nee Saunders) Ford and dear father of Milton (Audrey) Ford and Gloria (David) Thomson. He is also survived by eight loving grandchildren Sharon Bauer, Judy (Bernard) Owens, Keith (Betty) Ford, David (Lynn) Ford, Kimberley (Allan) Arsenault, Kent Thomson, Clay Thomson, Trent (Tracy) Thomson; 10 great-grandchildren; his sister, Margaret (Allison) Ford and sister-in-law, Irene Ford.
He was predeceased by his parents, Mayus and Matilda (nee Hickox) Ford; brothers, Harold, Lorne (Hazel), Ches (Aletha), Lloyd (Anne); sisters, Sadie (Roy and Alfred), Irene (John); infant granddaughter, Carol Ford.
Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 1 p.m. Interment to follow in Cornwall United Church Cemetery. Visiting hours on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of PEI or the Kidney Foundation of PEI.
