It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gloria Vivian (Gaulton) Penney announce her peaceful passing surrounded by her family at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 84 years on Sunday, December 20th, 2009. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories daughters: Wanda Mitchell (Kevin), Wendy Samms (Richard), sons: Wayne Penney (Deborah Johnson), Wade Penney (Sharon), Todd Penney (Dianne). Ten grandchildren: Troy, Kevin, Jennifer, Matthew, Catherine, Justin, Robyn Anne, Marshall, Cory, Jessica, two great grandchildren: Cameron and Malik. Sisters: Effie Ryan, Jean Pope, Doreen White, Ivy Mckinley, brothers: Ted Gaulton, George Gaulton, Tom Gaulton and Chay Gaulton as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Gloria was predeceased by her husband Cyril Penney on April 8th, 1998. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Tuesday, December 22nd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street on Wednesday, December 23rd at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Derek Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
