It is with great sadness that the family of the late PHYLLIS MARIE HODDER of St. Bernard’s announces her passing at the St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s on Tuesday May 1, 2012 at the age of 77. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Husband Clyde of 52 years; Sons Frank (Bertha) of St. Bernard’s, Tony (Kelly) of Ontario, and Wally (Kayla) of Paradise; Daughters Viola (John) Hynes of Fort McMurray, AB., Jessica (Leo) Ryan of Ontario, Carmel (Ed) Hodder of Witless Bay and Hazel (Darrell) Reid of Fort McMurray AB.; Sisters Sadie Corrigan of St. John’s and Lucy Walsh of St. John’s; Brother Patrick (Bernice) Hynes of St. Bernard’s; 11 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends.

Funeral Mass took place on Saturday May 5, 2012 at 11:00am from Sacred Heart R.C. Church in St. Bernard’s. Interment followed at the Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery in St. Bernard’s. In Phyllis’ memory, donations may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice or flowers gratefully accepted.
