It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael James Harrigan, age 61 of Witless Bay, proud owner of Harrigan’s Trucking Ltd. for over 30 years, announce his passing on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at St. Clare’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Rita Harrigan, son-in-law Joseph Wakeham and niece Kelly Dinn. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 43 years Anne (nee Lundrigan); daughter Tina (Chris), Stacie (Andrew), Hollie; son Dean (Tammy), Noah, Maggie; daughter Wanda (Stephen), Dylan, Rogan; Andrea (Wayne) whom has always been like a daughter; sister Bernadette (Bob Coady); brothers: Robert (Thelma), Cecil (Patricia), Thomas (Barbara), David (Mary); many nieces, nephews and special friends too numerous to name. Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Saturday May 5th and Sunday May 6th from 2-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday May 7th at St. Patrick’s RC Church, Witless Bay at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to be announced at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
