Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen’s Home, Carbonear on Sunday, December 20, 2009, Hazel White of Carbonear, age 96 years. Predeceased by husband Oscar; grandson John Howard Hutchings. Leaving to mourn one daughter Lima Sybil Hutchings, Ontario; six grandchildren: Gail (Wade) Butt, Rosalyn (Hallur) Antoniussen, Tena (Bill) Clarke, Edward Hutchings and Christine (Jeff) Martin; nine great-grandchildren: Chrystal, Ashley, Leanne, Andrea, Rosalyn, Robert Lee, Allison, Tyler and Matthew; two great-great-grandchildren: Emily and Marc; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, December 23 at 2 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Hazel’s memory may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
