Accomplished marketing professional with a career spanning three decades, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Lexington, Mass., on December 2, 2009. In addition to recent heart disease, he had been battling a progressive neurological disease “Multiple System Atrophy” for the past four years. All who knew him knew his love for P.E.I.
Mr. McGlinchey is survived by his wife, Sara, of 26 years; daughter, Elizabeth of Montreal; and son, Andrew of Lexington.
A memorial service will be held at West Covehead United Church on Dec. 28 at 4 p.m. Donations may be made in Dick’s honour to Friends of Covehead and Brackley Bays.
