MUDRY – Dennis D.
May 19, 1948 – December 18, 2009
Dennis D. Mudry, 61 suddenly passed away on Friday December 18, 2009. Dennis was born on May 19, 1948 in Prince Albert where he resided most of his life. Dennis was predeceased by his parents Nettie (1999) and Harry (2003); as well as his beloved dog Rocky. Dennis is survived by his brother Barry (Yvette) Mudry; his sisters April (Neil) Purdy, Natalie (Doug) Thompson, and Elana (Keith) Ellsworth and his nieces and nephews Brock, Brittany, Amanda, Kristopher (Jamie), Alexis, Kooper, Reid (Melissa), Lawry, Max, Eric, Amy and Kyle. Dennis had an adventurous spirit, taking him down many paths from coast to coast. Dennis was a school teacher, bank administrator, international bank inspector, construction worker and salesman. Dennis returned to Prince Albert to help with the family business (Whispering Pines Trailer Court) when Dad fell ill, taking over once Dad passed away. Coming back home to P.A. friendships were re-established. Dennis was a long time member of the High Noon Optimist Club of Prince Albert and volunteered his time in many projects within the community, Telemiracle being one most dear to his heart. Sports was his life. Dennis knew all the latest and up to date stats on any athlete in most sports. His favourite sport was baseball, whether it be playing or watching, starting with Dents Little League Ball Park in the 1950’S to the Honeymoon Hippies in the 1970’s. His lifelong dream was to attend Spring Training Camp in Tampa Fl. Plans were in motion for this trip at the time of his death. Dennis was enthusiastic, curious, playful and loved a good joke. He went from a twinkle in his eye, smirk on his face to enthusiastic laughter. He shared his boyish enthusiasm with everyone but especially his nieces and nephews. He took pride in all of their accomplishments and enjoyed attending as many sporting events of theirs as possible. Funeral Service will be held on at 2:00 p.m. on Monday December 28, 2009 at Grays Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Mr. Brian Clarke officiating. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.
