LILLICO On December 3, 2007 Mr. Melvin (Mel) Dennis Lillico passed away peacefully at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home at the age of 70 years. He is survived by his wife Mary, his three sons Terry (Mary) and Darcy both of Williams Lake and Kelvin (Connie) of Coquitlam; step-daughter Judy Cook of Kamloops, step-sons Ceic Gagnon of Saskatchewan, Jim (Sue) Gagnon of Armstrong and Don (Carmen) Gagnon of Kamloops and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mel also leaves to cherish his memory, his brothers George Lillico of Vancouver and Del Lillico of Kamloops, his sisters Eva Sanders of Calgary and Georgina (Don) Phillips of New Brunswick and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mel was a master carpenter with the ability to fix or build anything. He loved to camp, fish and spend time with his wife, family and very special friends. He was an extraordinary man with a zest for life, who loved to dance and spend real time with all those dear to him. He will be missed! A Celebration of Mel's Life will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. in the Eagles Banquet Room, 755 Tranquille Road. Should friends desire, donations to the Kamloops Hospice Association, 72 Whiteshield Crescent S., Kamloops, BC, V2E 2S9 or the Canadian Cancer Society, Unit 111, 450 Lansdowne Street, Kamloops, BC, V2C 1Y3 in memory of Mel would be appreciated.
