IRENE EDNA LAIRD It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Irene Edna Laird (nee: Nolte) on November 25th, 2007, Irene was 77. She will be lovingly remembered by her five children: Gord (Laurie), Doug (Chris), Bob (Ellie), Don, Heather (Jim) and her nine grandchildren. Irene has three sisters and a brother: Betty, Sharon, Joy and Bruce. Irene was predeceased by her late husband Gordon. Irene had lived the last 12 years quietly in Kelowna, prior to that she had lived in Vancouver and Kamloops. Irene was very involved in the Daughters of The Nile, a strong supporter of the Gizeh Shrine and Shrines hospital for children. Irene had a good heart and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. There will be a family graveside service on her Birthday January 4th in Kelowna. Irene always loved to have her family around her on her birthday.
