BRUGGER 1920 - 2007 Hubert Brugger of Kamloops, BC passed away on December 13th, 2007 at the age of 87. Left to cherish his memory are his loving children Michael (Jacquie) Brugger of Lac Le Jeune, Carl (Cathy) Brugger of Kamloops, Ralph Brugger of Lac Le Jeune, and Thomas (Doris) Brugger of Chilliwack. Also left with fond memories are his precious grandchildren Dustin, Paul, Mathew, Hayley, Celeste, Nicole, Leslie, Kelsey, Adam, Samantha and Eric, his brothers and sisters of Germany, Werner, Steve, Alfonz, Agnus and Margret. Hubert was predeceased by his wife Elfriede in 2003. Hubert and his wife, Elfriede immigrated to Canada and settled in the Kamloops area in the early 1950's. His first few years were spent raising his family of four boys who he was so proud of and dedicated his life to. Most of their weekends and holidays were spent enjoying their cabin at Lac Le Jeune. Hubert worked for the Ministry of Transportation for 27 years and retired in 1981. He also spent many hours tending to his collection of tropical fish. In April of 2003, Hubert and Elfriede moved into the Berwick on the Park, which they both thoroughly enjoyed. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Leung and staff and all the staff at the Berwick on the Park for their caring and kindness during our time of need. A Service of Remembrance will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 18th, 2007 in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel, 285 Fortune Drive, Kamloops, BC.
