HOLDEN On December 14, 2007, Mr. Kenneth Alvin Holden of Kamloops passed away peacefully at the age of 73 years. He is survived by his daughter Denice (Terry) Evanishin of Salmon Arm and his sons Keith (Linda) of Edmonton, Blaine (Rosanne) of Kamloops and Tedd of Williams Lake, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also left to cherish his memory are his sisters Verla (Dennis) Zinger and Iris (Ron) Pollard and numerous nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by his wife Dorothy and his parents Harvey and Eileen Holden. Ken was born January 4, 1934 in Armley, Saskatchewan. Ken and family moved to Kamloops in 1966 from Lynn Lake, Manitoba. In the 70's Ken moved to Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, where he married Dorothy. He was very active in the community, involved in minor hockey in Alberta and BC. Ken moved back to Kamloops in 1985 to be close to his family. He loved hockey, camping and watching his family grow. Ken was also known for his sense of humor and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. No formal service by request.
